Unguided Float Trips
Willow Air has a variety of do-it-yourself float trips available for the novice floater all the way up to the pro. Let us customize your trip for you based on your skill level. Floats are from 3-7 days. We will supply you with rafts, rowing frames, oars, life vests, maps, cook stove, camping gear, and pick up and drop off at Anchorage airport.
If you want to completely do it yourself, we can just supply the flying to and from the river of your choice and you pay just the hourly rate on the airplane. We also rent rafts for $75.00 a day. Give us a call and we can discuss the various options.

Lake Creek Float Trip (Class I-IV 01/06)
Lake Creek Float
Our Lake Creek float is a 5 day trip ranging from class I to class IV. You would be dropped off at Chelatna Lake which is located at the foothills of the Alaska Range which is west of Mt. McKinley. You will float 54 miles to the confluence of the Yentna River. There are rainbow trout, grayling and carious salmon species to fish for along the way. You may see moose, brown and black bear and of course plenty of bald eagles.

Talachulitna River Float Trips (Class I-IV 01/06)
Talchulitna River
For the more experienced, we offer a 7 day float on the Talchulitna River. We fly you to Judd Lake and you will float the entire Talchulitna River to its confluence with the Skwentna River. This 50 mile trip varies from a class I to a class IV. The river offers a variety of salmon, dolly varden, rainbow trout and grayling.
